For Immediate Release – Films We Like is delighted to announce the Canadian acquisition of Peter Asher: Everywhere Man, a feature documentary that explores the extraordinary life, rare artistic instinct, and lasting cultural influence of British music legend Peter Asher. Directed by acclaimed filmmaking team Dayna Goldfine and Dan Geller (Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, a Journey, a Song), the film had its world premiere at the 2025 Telluride Film Festival.
Peter Asher: Everywhere Man traces Asher’s remarkable six-decade journey through the ever-evolving worlds of pop, folk, and rock — from his meteoric British Invasion rise as one half of the beloved duo Peter & Gordon, and his close personal and creative ties to Paul McCartney, to his groundbreaking work behind the scenes as a producer and manager for iconic artists including James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt.
With rare archival footage and intimate interviews, the film offers a vivid and deeply engaging portrait of a man whose taste, ambition, and artistry helped shape the soundtrack of multiple generations — and whose legacy continues to resonate across the musical landscape today.
