Films We Like is pleased to announce the acquisition of THE IMMORTAL DIANA KENNEDY, about the world’s most famous expert on Mexican cuisine.

The Immortal Diana Kennedy by documentary filmmaker Elizabeth Carroll is a candid look into the world of 92-year old British chef and author Diana Kennedy, widely regarded as the world’s authority on Mexican cuisine. Ms. Kennedy is a formidable critic of anyone who doesn’t share her objective views of Mexican culinary traditions or anyone who, God forbid, doesn’t recycle.

Diana Kennedy is a force of nature, and lives entirely in harmony with it. Along with cooking, she maintains an ecologically sustainable ranch where she has been recycling rainwater, using solar power, and growing her own coffee and corn since the 1970's. A staunch environmentalist with a collection of plastic bags she’s reused for a decade, she is famously prickly about being "green" at home and abroad.

The Immortal Diana Kennedy will be theatrically released across Canada by Films We Like and by Submarine Entertainment in the US in the latter part of 2016.
