Following its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, Canadian film distributor Films We Like has acquired Canadian rights to Swedish filmmaker Roy Andersson’s About Endlessness . This is the second film by Andersson to be released by the boutique distribution company, who previously released his acclaimed A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence.
About Endlessness weaves together multiple visually arresting vignettes into a powerful larger narrative which “contains moments of devilish wit, but at the heart it is a sad, sweet picture, threaded with themes of estrangement and separation” - The Guardian
About Endlessness will be released Spring 2020 in tandem with Magnolia Pictures in the US.
