Press
“Critics Pick! This tragicomedy from Lloyd Eyre-Morgan and Neil Ely balances a mordantly funny deconstruction of romance with the harsher realities of gay life.”
“Departures is more than just a comedy or a romance. It provides a glimpse into the life of a queer teenager coming-of-age without a role model to offer guidance on how to navigate his sexuality”
“There is plenty here for viewers to relate to, whether or not they’ve ever gone to those extremes. There’s also an ample supply of humour, with laugh-out-loud moments occurring in the bleakest situations.”
“A cult classic in the making”
