Films We Like has acquired the Canadian rights to the Manele Labidi’s debut film Arab Blues  (Un Divan A Tunis). The French language comedy starring Golshifteh Farahani is set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival and will have its North American debut at the Toronto International Film Festival. Films We Like acquired the film from Paris-based international sales agent MK2.

About the Film

Arab Blues follows a psychoanalyst who deals with a cast of colourful new patients after returning home to Tunisia to open a practice. TIFF Programmer Kiva Reardon wrote, “Farahani hits all of the comic beats and deftly inhabits a character, who above all, wants to do what’s right. Arab Blues develops with an irresistible charm.”
